Income Report – May 2012

Wso Testers Income ReportI know this is coming a little bit late, but it’s better late then never, right?  Anyway May turned out to be quite a bit better than last month, especially since we finally started getting a lot of our sites up and ranking.  As noted in previous posts, we also ended up creating systems for our article writing and our site building so now we pretty much have most of the process of building sites automated.  Using the particular systems that we have, we can easily build niche sites and authority sites with ease.  If we spend a little more time on it, i’m pretty confident that we could even offer article writing or SEO services as well!  That’s the beauty of building systems.

It’s Time To Get Paid

So guess what?  We made our first Amazon Sale last month!  We basically took one of our sites, stuck a few Amazon products on there and BAM!!  Money in the bank!  So our Amazon income for the month of May ended with a Whopping Grand Total of……..$0.55.  Yea, I know you’re probably not impressed, but I was actually more excited about this sale then all of our other income earnings from every other site.  That’s because the first is always the best.  The first sale you make for any platform seems to serve as the myth buster which says “Yes, It Does Exist!”.  Now all we have to do is optimize and expand!

Amazon:  $0.55 (up from $0)

So now that we’re all pumped up about our whopping $0.55 Amazon Earnings, it’s time to turn the music down and get to the boring stuff…the Adsense Income.  The month of May proved to be a decent month for Adsense income.  With close to 60 sites, our adsense income bumped up 943% and ended with $1664.53.  By the end of the month our daily Adsense earnings was hitting over $80 per day, so pretty good in my opinion!

Adsense Total : $1664.53 (+943%)
Best Site: $160.28

Future Plans and Projections

With the new systems in play, we are pumping out more sites than ever.  We plan to turn most of these into Adsense Sites, but we also intend to build a few Amazon Sites as well.  We’re also well under way to building our first Authority Site.  If you’ve been reading our blog, then you know that our new goal is to hit a very optimistic $240 per day of passive income by the end of the month of June.  We believe we can hit this mark, it’s just a matter of organization and perseverance.

Other projects under way:
– Niche Training Course
– Personal Blog Network

We’d love to hear from you, so tell us how your sites are doing, ask us any questions you have, or just drop a line and say hi 🙂

We wish you all the best!

  1. Nice work guys!

The sites have really taken off. Well this is what happens when you work hard and smart.

Caring to share what’s you SEO strategy like?

    • Josh E.Josh E.06-14-2012

      Hey Kris,
For some sites we use tier linkbuilding that mentioned earlier with magic submitter (method was inspired by Pat Flynn’s ‘backlinking that works’ post), for other sites we’ve been using a VA seo team that we hired on Odesk to do some backlinking. For this we just searched workers on odesk that did SEO, and then talked to them to understand their qualifications and experience. Some of the original sites had Unique Article Wizard and My Article Network linking to them.

Hey guys, I follow you closely, love how things are working for you! One question, I remember you saying that you were using Socialadr for social bookmarks, I just finished my first adsense site and want to start booking it, do you bookmark only the main URL ( or are you bookmarking each individual page/article (

    • Josh E.Josh E.06-14-2012

      Hey Brent,
When we do social bookmarking we’re just doing it to the root domain. Some people have done it to every page, but for these microniche sites, we haven’t seen any advantage in doing so.

  3. MassivePassiveMassivePassive06-12-2012

Thanks for the update guys. At $15/day now with a couple dozen sites. Working my day up to $80 soon hopefully.

    Keep up the great work.

    • Josh E.Josh E.06-14-2012

That’s awesome! Keep it up. I believe we were at $15/day only a little over a month ago. So just rinse and repeat.

    Thank you, WSOtesters!

You inspire me so much! Do you research all your keywords by Longtails pro? I need an advice about buy it or not!

    • Josh E.Josh E.06-14-2012

Yes, we do all our keyword research with Long Tail Pro. From our stats, it’s proven to be the most reliable in finding the low competition niches. Some tools we’ve tried like SECockpit have shown some niches to be “easy” but when it came down to it we had a hard time ranking. Also, compared to Market Samurai, we’re able to do our searches much much faster with LTP – and for us it’s all about getting as much work done in as little amount of time as possible.

We’re always open to trying new tools if people have some to suggest, but right now LTP is the best one we’ve found.

Hahaha, It’s funny how people say that niche sites don’t work and then you see income report like this 😛

  6. SpoiledKid01SpoiledKid0106-13-2012

    Really Great Progress.
Sorry if i missed it but how many adsense sites you guys have?
And how many articles you have on these sites?

    • Josh E.Josh E.06-14-2012

Right now we have about 70 sites I think. The sites start off with one article, and if it ranks and does well we end up putting up to 3 or 4 articles.

  7. BrentBrent06-14-2012

I are you finding that one article is enough for most sites or are you having to ad additional articles and content to most sites?

    • Josh E.Josh E.06-14-2012

      Hey Brent,
For sites that are earning and ranking we add more content to. For sites that don’t show any ranking improvement, we let them fall into our archives.

  8. andyandy06-17-2012

how we do keep tracking and checking ranks for all website..any sugesstion?

    • Josh E.Josh E.06-21-2012

      Hey Andy,
Right now we’re just using the free version of Rank Tracker. With the amount of sites that we have though, we’re looking to invest in a tracking tool that keeps all the sites on file. If anyone has any suggestions for this, let us know.

  9. ShaunShaun06-18-2012

Hey guys, loving the site and the updates. Really inspiring to see what a little hard work and a solid plan can achieve! Its inspired me to stop reading and start doing.

I have one question, which is probably stupid. You submit articles to UAW which then get sent to blogs which can then get you backlinks, right? Does the content of this article differ to what you use in your actual site or can it be the same?! If it does differ, do you get one article written and then break it down into a summary so that it is new content? Or do you get an article written specifically for this purpose?

Thanks guys, keep up the good work.

    • Josh E.Josh E.06-21-2012

When we did use UAW we were not using content that was posted on our money site. We just had a simple article written and spun specifically for it. We’re no longer using UAW, however, we do acknowledge that it does work if you have some good low competition keywords.
